지금부터 나는

나 자신의 꿈을 꾸기로 선택합니다.

그리하여 인간 존재의 신비로운 즐거움을 내가 온전히 맛볼 수 있기를.

 

지금부터 나는

다른 사람과 공감으로 연결하기로 선택합니다.

그리하여 매순간 한 사람 한 사람에게서 발견되는 

고유하고 신성한 경험을 내가 온전히 존중할 수 있기를.

 

지금부터 나는

본성과 연결된 흐름 속에서 행동하고, 

이 흐름을 지지하는 곳에 나의 주의를 두기로 선택합니다.

 

지금부터 나는

내가 선택하지 않았지만 문화가 내 안에 심어놓은 비인간적 생각들을 알아차리고, 

그 생각들로 인해 로봇과 같은, 폭력적 행동으로 이끌리지 않을 것을 선택합니다.

 

지금부터 나는

내 안에 살아 있는 것을 솔직하게 드러내기로 선택합니다. 

비록 다른 사람이 그것이 주는 선물을 인정하지 않는다 해도.

 

지금부터 나는

내가 권위를 갖게 되었을 때, 내가 다른 사람보다 앞서 나아간다는 것이 

응보적 수단을 이용해 그들이 나와 함께 하도록 영향을 주는 것을 

정당화할 수 없다는 것을 의식하기로 선택합니다.

 

지금부터 나는

우리의 욕구가 충족되지 못하는 것은 ‘부족함’ 때문이 아니라, 

‘충분하지 않은 대화와 창의성’ 때문이라는 것을 믿기로 선택합니다.

From now on,

I choose to dream my own dreams

So that I can fully taste the mystical excitement of being human.

 

From now on,

I choose to empathically connect with others

So that I can fully respect the unique 

and holy experience to be found in each person every moment.

 

 

From now on,

I choose to have my actions flow from connection with nature 

and to direct my attention where it supports this flow.

 

From now on,

I choose to be aware of the unchosen, dehumanizing thoughts my culture planted within me, 

and to prevent them from leading me into robot-like, violent actions.

 

From now on,

I choose to openly reveal what is alive within me,

even though others may not appreciate the gift.

 

 

From now on,

when wearing a title of authority, I choose to be aware that reaching frontiers 

before others never justifies punitive means to influence them to join me.

 

 

From now on,

I choose to believe that the failure of our needs to be fulfilled results 

from insufficient dialogue and creativity rather than scarcity.
